Baby Smith number 3!

I have been capturing moments for this family for years!
Birthdays! Special dates! And all the wonderful concoctions that come out of their mama's kitchen!
It was so exciting finding out they were expecting baby number 3! But will she be another bouquet in the line of Roses (Their names all have the name Rose in it) or will he be a little dude with no floral affiliation at all?
Either way! Mini Rose is CLEARLY the most excited about this whole "Big Sister" thing!

There are no words to express how happy I was for these two amazing ladies when I found out they were expecting! They are some of the most level headed, kind, understanding individuals I know! They're going to be amazing, and I can't wait to capture every step of the way.

The Roberts, Matthew & Jacqueline!  I seriously think I am beyond blessed to always work with such wonderful couples (*knock-on-wood*). Jacqueline is a DIY queen! A lot of the beautiful details in her wedding were designed and made with her brain power and the loving, (patient), hands of her family and bff's. I've been to plenty of DIY weddings myself, and technically my former line of work produced it's own fair amount of DIY decor - but The Roberts had little details on their big day to make Weddingstar proud!  The whole day itself was filled with laughter, which is amazing and ideal for me because I absolutely adore laughing photos- because seriously, what better way is there to prove that these people actually enjoy spending time with each other. ;)

Oh what a wonder births are. I got the phone call late Saturday night that mama was going into labor and I could not have been more excited if I tried! There were some hiccups (and I'm not just talking about from the baby) when we got started with the photography process, but man I'll tell you what - every minute was worth it.
 I spent a nice afternoon with this wonderful family and ok, maybe I'm SUPER biased - but they were so much fun to watch and hangout with.

Bella Rose turns 6! Lily Rose turns 2! :)

My good friend Michelle - is a queen of crafts.
Not only can she decorate, she makes the most INSANE CAKES -
all from the comfort of her own abode. 


Not for nothing, but I've hired her in the past - 
and after shooting birthday after birthday for her - 
I find myself itching with anticipation for the birthdays of the little ones  in my life. 




(Also, I love how there's a Shopkin(s?) for literally everything.)
